Kim M. Bennett, M.S., has been an educator for 28 years, the last five as a professional trainer and workshop facilitator across the United States. Her teaching experiences span from preschool to adult education. Her greatest love is science, and she has taught science to preschoolers, elementary students, high schools students and adults. Her special education training and seven years as a bilingual teacher give her a unique perspective on reaching the needs of all learners in the general education classroom. Evan Brand is an outdoor educator, naturalist and horticulturist. A specialist in the field of natural resources management, he shares his love of nature and wildlife by providing guided tours of local trails to children and adults in his community, and by advising community boards that oversee parks and wetlands management. He loves teaching others how to connect the outdoors to any subject area. See our Beardsley Zoo unit, for an example.
